WHAT A DISSAPPOINTMENT AND A WASTE OF MONEY IN A COFFMAKER WITH A THERMAL CARAFE. THE FRONTAL ACCESS IS WONDERFUL BUT THE MAKER DOES NOT MAKE HOT COFFEE. THEREFORE,THE CARAFE DOES NOT KEEP THE COFFEE WARM LONG SINCE IS DOES NOT BREW HOT. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE CARAFE INSERTED ALL THE WAY CORRECTLY, THE COFFEE DRIPS ALL OVER THE OUTSIDE OF THE POT AND MAKER. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO LIKES A GOOD HOT CUP OF COFFEE. ALSO, THE CARAFE LIP IS TERRIBBLE TO POUR FROM. UNFORTUNATELY, I DID NOT KEEP THE ORIGINAL BOX FROM AMAZON, THEREFORE I AM STUCK WITH IT ON MY BASEMENT SHELF OR THE TRASH.
