Pros: It's attractive and my wife likes it.
Cons: We bought it mostly to keep our five-year-old out of my wife's jewelry and other valuables. But although it's "locking," in practice only about 1/3rd of the space is lockable. And since it's not a real key, my local hardware store can't duplicate the key so I don't have a backup plan in case the single key gets lost. At some point I plan to contact the company to see about obtaining a spare key.

This jewelry box is awesome! The finish is a very dark wood color that blends beautifully with my room...there are lots of sections to separate and organize your jewelry. Very good quality!
