You may have purchased plastic or laminated frames in the past. They generally look real and good quality online but once you see it and feel it then you notice that it is a cheap imitation.
Not the case here, this metal frame is sturdy and well made, in fact, I think the online photo shown does not serve justice to the craftsmanship on here. I has an elegant pattern of embelished line that surround the frame giving it an elevated look but not so pronounced that you could not enclose a more masculine photo. The metal framing only attest to its craftsmanship and gives the photo a more enduring and valid look, than a cheap laminated frame. The price of the frame is the mere cherry on top.
