What makes this pole unique is the top 37" of the pole rotates on ball bearings so the flag always hangs free (for use with any flag up to 3'x5' with grommets or banner with a pole sleeve). No need for unfurling tubes! For the easiest and most versatile installation ever, the pole comes with flag fasteners for flying traditional flags with grommets and a swivel ring for banner display. I was a bit suprised to find this pole not only of better than expected quality, but it also does keep the flag from tangling. We have only had it a couple of months and, although we fly the flag every day, have not had a single time when it was wrapped around the pole. It is, as I mentened, very good quality aluminum and very sturdy. I'd give this item all fifty stars...

This is a hansome and well-produced metal flagpole. Designed to slot into a bracket that you usually attach to your house. It's nice looking and functions well to keep your flag from getting tangled in the wind. It has a nice attachment for the top of the flag, but none for the bottom! I used a plastic disposable zip tie, but would have preferred a proper attachment. This product is so well made that I'm surprised that they neglected this one item.

I was having trouble with lighter weight flagpoles bending in the wind under the weight of my fairly sturdy flag. This pole is just what I needed. Still light in actual weight but a little larger in diamter and much sturdier than the standard issue flagpole and the spinning no tangle option is fabulous.

I hadn't seen a flag pole like this before, but now I have seen them in some stores. It is great to not have to jump up to untangle the flag from the flag pole! Make sure you get a 1" bracket to hang on your house (it doesn't come with one). We picked one up at the local hardware store. It looks beautiful. My only complaint is the unfurling/spinning part is plastic, but I haven't been able to find one that isn't plastic...it seems to be strong enough though.
