I bought this for my mother and her housemate. The "ladies" have everything and then some. This was a unique gift, one of kind. I'm impressed with the craftmanship. Fast shipping, too. I'd recommend this for art lovers who can appreciate it.

I decided I wanted something for my office that would indicate gay-friendliness, and after a significant amount of time searching found this. It appealed to me immediately, and it's even better in real life -- attractive shapes, textures (one person thought it was self-illuminated), and colors. Even though I don't have it hanging where it makes sound, for me it's a bonus that it can also be pleasing aurally.
The bar behind the chimes and the ball in front both sound the chimes, and theoretically the volume of each can be adjusted by changing the distance from the chimes and the height at which it strikes the chimes. I don't know how well the sound adjustment features actually work, but it's clever that the manufacturer even thought of them.
The only drawback is that some people don't catch that this is gay-themed (?!) -- I think I'm going to have to put a small Gay Pride flag in the flamingo's beak.
