Amazon.com Review After months of painstakingly plotting and planting a garden, it would be a shame to permit the flourishing landscape to wilt under the hot summer sun. Whether the garden's beds overflow with bright carnations or tomatoes, every plant in the yard requires a fresh drink of water on a regular basis. Peoria, Illinois-based LR Nelson understands the importance of consistent watering for healthy vegetation when the weather gets hot. For the busy gardener who cannot set aside time daily to water, LR Nelson created their Simple Soaker sprinkling system. Easy to install, this system provides thorough coverage for diverse border areas, vegetable boxes, and flowerbeds. The Simple Soaker features 50 feet of poly tubing, which the landscape gardener can weave through their peonies and azaleas to touch on every space desiring hydration. Once the user has positioned the tubing to the garden's specifications, five plastic stakes maintain the tubing's placement in the event of strong winds, frisky animals, or other disturbances. Five adjustable nozzles and five nozzle deflectors divert water away from fruit or delicate blossoms by deflecting the semi-circle sprays directly to thirsty roots and parched soil. Five 6-inch nozzle risers also accompany the system for slightly elevated watering. The system covers up to 600 square feet. For smaller areas, LR Nelson includes an end plug to shorten the tubing and eight goof plugs for plugging mishaps and system alterations. The simple installation requires no tools and takes a quick 15 minutes. The sprinkling system weighs 3.8 pounds upon shipping. --Jessica Reuling What's in the Box 50-foot poly tubing, 5 plastic stakes, 5 nozzles, 5 nozzle deflectors, 5 nozzle risers, 8 goof plugs, 1 end plug.

The best sprinkler system around August 2, 2005 Charlene Rabinak 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I have a large yard with a perennial border surrounding the whole area. Keeping the plants watered had always been a chore especially when I had to move a sprinkle around. This would take me all day if not more. I found the Simple Soaker and thought that this was just what I needed. The Simple Soaker is very easy to install and you can put the sprinkler heads just where you need them. If the hose is too long you can cut it and plug the end or you can connect several to make a longer hose. I now have installed this Simple Soaker system all over my borders and find that I can water everything in half the time. The water also soaks deeply into the ground and stays there for a long time eliminating the need for frequent waterings. I highly recommend this product to anyone tired of watering their plants. Easy is always better.
Simple & Effective August 10, 2005 Blue Diamond (MA, USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
The LR Nelson 2311 Simple Soaker does the job for my 40 foot long border area. It was easy to install( took about 20 minutes ). One con is that the plastic stakes are a bit fragile, they will break if someone stepped on it & applied pressure, so you have to be careful. The sprinkler sprinkles about a 2 foot diameter. The system has ony 5 sprinkers, I wish they would add 1 or 2 more as 5 is not enough to do the job for me.
So Easy! July 18, 2005 Gregory J. Lucas (Santa Rosa, CA USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My husband suggested I install a new sprinkler system in the backyard. After spending over $50 at the hardware store on a complicated system, I foudn this and had it installed in under an hour and it works great!
Easy garden watering September 4, 2005 Candy 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I picked one of these up at a Super Target while on vacation. I got home and had no trouble installing and using it in a raised bed situation with great results. So when I found it on Amazon I just had to order 2 more to use in my flower beds. It is so easy to use and does a great job.
GREAT GARDEN HELPER September 12, 2005 Bernadette A. Risi (Hampton Bays, NY) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This sprinkling system is great. If you always wanted a lawn system, but it was too exspensive, this is the perfect option. Easy to install and you have options of high or low water coverage, as well as full circle or half circle. My garden thanks me for installing the Simple Soaker.
