1000 sf was no match for this sanding system. There's no getting around that sanding 50 year old paint off cedar siding is up close, dirty, dusty , nasty work but the Porter cable 7403 sander makes it possible to do the job right, or....possible. Close up work requires dust masks and hearing protection. Used one disk per 250 sf and they still had good life for easier work. Did 250 sf in about 6 hours. Burning the paint off would have taken twice that.
