Amazon.com This angle finish nailer is one of seven new heavy-duty air-powered nailers from the venerable Milwaukee, and the whole series is another testament to the red label's unflagging quality. Our first impression was how incredibly light this nailer is, and its compactness makes it a cinch to tote and use, especially in awkward positions and at the tail end of a long day of trim or floor installation. Still, it's a heavyweight in the power department, effortlessly driving 2-1/2" 15-gauge nails and, best of all, its reload indicator even alerts you when your magazine's nearly empty, preventing wasted firings. Loading more fasteners takes a couple of seconds at most, and that means more money in your pocket. Another big tip of the hat to Milwaukee for incorporating both sequential and bump firing modes, accessible just by turning a knob, so when speed is a need, you're ready to go, but precision is at your fingertips too. We like the quality built into this tool, from the magnesium housing and easily adjustable air deflector and muffler all the way down to small details like the sturdy belt hook. The removable non-marring nosepiece won't deface your work surface, and there's even a self-cleaning air filter in the tool handle, keeping dust and dirt out of the tool's workings - and that means longer tool life. In hand, this nailer feels great: light, comfortable, agile, beautifully balanced, and dare we say, fun to use. Tool-free depth adjustment is on-the-mark reliable, fast and easy. And should the nails jam, clearing is a snap with the tool-free jam release. Remodelers, contractors, cabinetmakers and the smart do-it-yourselfer will love this nailer.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste Amazon.com Product Description Milwaukee 34 , 15 gauge angle finish nailer features an ultra light weight magnesium housing that helps to minimize fatigue plus, its compact size offers greater maneuverability. The tool-free depth-of-drive adjustment gives you precise depth control and protects against overdriving nails. The tool-free jam release gives you quick access for clearing occasional jams. This unit also features a selectable trigger that allows you to choose sequential or contact actuation by simply turning a knob. An in-handle self-cleaning air filter extends life by preventing dirt and debris from entering the tool. The tool-free adjustable exhaust with muffler directs exhaust away from the work area. This nailer comes with a removable no-mar tip that prevents damage to the workpiece. It also features a reload indicator that alerts the user when nearly out of nails, plus the rear-loading magazine with bypass pusher allows quick loading and unloading of fasteners. Also features an internal piston catch, rubber over-molded handle and trigger, and an adjustable belt hook that provides convenience for carrying when not in use. Powerful, consistent, light August 20, 2007 Kelley Nelson 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
I've used this nailer for a number of projects and it's been excellent. Case in point - crown molding. It's light, which makes it a lot easier to hold over your head while nailing off crown molding all day. The belt hook is also key if you need two hands to get the crown seated in just the right position before fastening it while you're on a ladder. After the install is done, you'll appreciate the clean countersink hole that this nailer leaves. Some nailers leave a little lip, or an extra dent that takes extra sanding and filling work to hide. This gun just leaves a clean-edged hole and the no-mar tip works perfectly. The only time the tip can be a disadvantage is nailing into some tightly curved profiles. You have to be careful that the tip isn't preventing the nose of the gun from being pressed fully against the work piece. (Then the nail may not be driven all the way in and countersunk.) No problems using the Porter Cable angled nails that you find at local stores. Loading was really slick once I found the little tab that helps to hold the nail pusher out of the way. My two gripes - 1. They didn't include a quick disconnect air fitting and the diameter of the fitting is a bit larger than most nailers sold at the mega-stores. 2. The included bottle of pneumatic tool oil doesn't seal well and can leak inside the case if you store it on its side.
Nice ergonomics and features. October 26, 2006 W. Lehman (Wichita, Kansas) 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
I bought this nailer after my Dewalt failed after only 1.5 years with minimal use and after my positive experience with the purchase of the Milwaukee 7120-21 roofing nailer. So far this nailer has worked great and I like that it includes a 5 year warranty. The fit and feel are similar to the Dewalt and the depth adjustment is in a better location, the selectable trigger is also a nice feature. As for the reliabilty only time will tell but if it performs as well as the Milwaukee 7120-21 roofing nailer has for me then I will be very satisfied.

Another Quality Milwaukee Tool December 13, 2006 Thomas Whitman Jr. (Alexandria, NH United States) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I found this to be a quality nailer. Good range on depth adjustment. Easy to load and open slide allows you see clearly see remaining nail supply. I have not experienced any jams after shooting over 100 nail sleeves of various sizes. The tool is light weight and comfortable to hold. The ability to direct the air exhaust and the belt hook are nice features. I was surprised that the tool did not come with a male hose fitting. Overall a great value.
Typical Milwaukee quality November 7, 2006 Viper1861 (USA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Typical Milwuakee Tool quality. The nailer is well balanced and well constructed with a magnesium body. I have noticed the Milwaukee nailers are very similar in design to the Ridgid nailers. If you like the swivel air fittings that the Ridgid brand units are fitted with, you can install them as they are readily available. Milwaukee nailers do not come with air fittings pre-installed. Milwaukee does provide a good quality hard case with the unit however.
