I got this nightlight for my daughter for Christmas, and I haven't used it yet; however, any potential buyer needs to know that despite the fact that the description clearly says the lava lamp is blue/silver, the company will package a randomly selected color. I had particularly selected this item b/c of the soothing blue, but when I asked the company about it after I opened my pink lightnight, I got a one sentence response, "Those items are randomly selected." Oh well. Strike one for customer service -- just wanted any buyer to know before they made a purchase.

I loved the look of the nightlight glitter lamp and thought it was a really cute idea. I turned it on in my bathroom at night and left it on overnight - maybe about 8 or 9 hours. After just a couple of weeks it stopped working. Perhaps it is just the bulb which I haven't checked yet but still it should last longer than that.
