The lever makes all the difference July 12, 2008

This is an impressive door jam bar. It is obviously well constructed and is fully adjustable. I suppose that can be said of many (if not most) jam bars. What sets this one far above the rest is the fact that it is levered. Once the "Y" is placed under the door knob and the bottom of the bar is moved into place, the lever is pulled down, slightly extending the length of the bar and giving it a tight, solid fit. I've yet to see another jam bar that provides the same type of fit. ... but then I've yet to see another jam bar with a lever. Once the bar is secured, the door will not budge.
