Product Description
Designed for drilling, sanding, shaping, detailing and other light-duty jobs, this compact, go-anywhere, use-anytime tool comes in extremely handy in and around the house. It features two speeds and can be used with any Dremel accessory bit with up to a 1/8" shank.
Amazon.com We started counting all the uses for this little dynamo, but we stopped at 967. We like it for delicate tasks and finer work because it isn't as powerful as its big brothers, so it's easier to control. It's light, extremely maneuverable, the switch is exactly where you want it and heck, it's just plain fun to use. It's perfect for jewelry, electronics, tiny woodworking crafts like dollhouse furniture and other intricate hobbies. It uses Dremel's wide array of bits, so there's virtually no limit to what you can do with this. Sure, there are store brands on the market for less, but Dremel is king when it comes to rotary tools, and we think they outdid themselves with this one.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

MiniMite Mighty Handy October 3, 2005 Kathy S. Luzzi (Bethesda, MD USA) 57 out of 58 found this review helpful
It is the perfect tool to keep my dogs' nails from overgrowing. Just a few touches on the nails with the tool, my dog gets a treat for being patient about the chore, and the job is done.
Versatility goes cordless December 19, 1999 Michael Gordon (Florida's Space Coast) 40 out of 43 found this review helpful
The cordless Minimite is a perfect compliment to Dremel's electric Moto-tools! This tool is great for quick jobs away from AC power. I recently installed car stereo speakers and the tool's small size, fast speed, and availability of bits made the speaker cutouts in a confined space quick and easy. I strongly recommend having a spare battery for minimum down time.
Great for My Use November 9, 2003 36 out of 36 found this review helpful
My dog's breeder recommended this model to use for keeping the dog's nails trimmed. Absolutely perfect for filing down her nails. I always put on a pair of gardening gloves (you know how puppies and dogs wiggle) and this cordless wonder works GREAT. Good price, great work. A very good buy.
Dream tool for manicurist/crafter! December 2, 2000 34 out of 36 found this review helpful
I love this tool!! I didn't realize I needed it until I had it. As a manicurist, this is a less expensive, but better, alternative to the fancy "nail professional" drills/sanders (check your state laws before using it on clients). And there's no cord to get in the way! As a crafter, I can't tell you how many times I've pulled this out to do the smallest things! So very convenient, and easy to store.
A REAL WORKER February 5, 2001 BRADLEY KELLER (BRIGHTWOOD OREGON) 34 out of 34 found this review helpful
I bought one of these tools, when it first hit the street.Man was I surprised with the power. After about 2 years of serious duty I finally wore it out.The only down side was not being able to precisely control the speed. You cant go wrong here folks dremel has built a reputation on simplicity and reliability. This minimite is no exception and is definitely tool box worthy. Now get out there and grind, cut, polish something.
