Product Description This basketball set from Little Tikes grows as fast as toddlers by adjusting to six heights from two-and-a-half to four feet. Made of sturdy plastic, this is a basketball set that is meant to last. Children love the bright colors. The base can be weighted with sand, not included, for stability. Includes a mini basketball that's easy for small hands to grasp.
Editorial Review Hey, even Michael Jordan was a toddler once. And just think of how many more millions he might have made if he had practiced on a hoop-and-ball set like this one when he was a height-challenged hoopster. With the Easy Score Basketball set those impromptu dunking clinics will be challenging, but no longer impossible. Future MJs can now practice their skills with ease, because the Easy Score adjusts to height, has a size-appropriate hoop, and is made of durable plastic. The over-size rim (1 foot across, with a nylon hoop) can be set anywhere, as it only rises from 2.5 to 4 feet high, putting lay-ups and treys just within reach. A sturdy 15-by-19-inch base keeps the basket from tipping; this is important for young hoopsters who get a little too exuberant. The set comes with a tot-sized (6-inch-wide) rubber b-ball. --Paul Hughes

Lots of Fun! October 29, 2001 126 out of 126 found this review helpful
We bought this toy for our 16 month old twin girls. They absolutely love it! We did have problems with the rim falling off easily at first; but I called Little Tikes and they helped me solve the problem. They told me to take the backboard off, lay it on the floor and attach the hoop and then actually step on the flat part of the hoop until I heard it snap into place. This worked like a charm and the hoop hasn't fallen off since. We all enjoy playing basketball. Little Tikes has great toys and their customer service folks are really helpful if there's ever a problem.
We Keep this in the Family Room! November 21, 2003 Catherine (USA) 53 out of 53 found this review helpful
I highly recommend this toy! I purchased this when my son was about 15 months old, and it still looks brand new even though we use it just about every day. We keep it in the house in the family room, and on rainy days when we can't get outside, it makes a wonderful physical activity. Every child who comes in this house can't resist playing with it! My nieces have enjoyed this as much as my two boys. My husband certainly has enjoyed it too. . .
Darn good toy, my 20m old girl LOVES it! January 15, 2002 48 out of 48 found this review helpful
This basketball set is great. As long as you attach the rim according to instructions and fill the base w/sand (use a wide mouth funnel), it will not come apart or tip over easily. My 20m old girl uses it almost every day, many times twice a day. Her 8 yr., 5 yr. and 2 yr. old cousins also love it. People who have had problems with the rim coming off did not attach it properly and those that tip over did not put sand in the base. It would be a good idea to buy a couple of extra same size balls and a small hand pump for them, especially if more than one child uses it at a time.
My kids LOVE this toy!! June 12, 2001 37 out of 38 found this review helpful
My son got this for his first birthday, and learned how to throw the ball through the hoop the same day. He and his 2 1/2 year old sister both love this toy. I also bought an extra ball so they'd both have one at the same time. It's lots of fun watching them play!! Highly recommended.
Great exercise and hand-eye coordination work April 24, 2003 27 out of 28 found this review helpful
My son is in love with balls. All types. So, of course, the next step was to get him a goal to put them in. This adjustable hoop was just the thing. We keep the hoop inside, so it has not been filled with sand. We have never had a problem with it toppling over, except when my son purposefully pulls it! He can move it where he wants it to be so he can line up the best shot possible. At two, he is very particular about where he stands and how far the hoop is away from him! The incremental adjustment for the hoop is a wonderful feature. We keep the hoop just at fingertip height so that he has to stretch to put the ball in the hoop, which adds just the right amount of challenge. This is a great toy for the rest of the family, too! My husband spends just as much time as my son shooting baskets, although usually from the couch across the room! The kickback feature of the base is a nice touch on this hoop, returning the ball to you after you have made the goal. A definite plus for the "big" kid couch potato.
