Hours of Fun September 16, 2007 M. Silver (Calhoun TN) 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
For my son's 3rd birthday we gave him this parking garage. He loves cars and I was concerned whether hot wheels type cars would fit on the ramp and couldn't find that information anywhere. You can see in the picture that there is a divider in the ramp...however most hot wheels cars do roll down it nicely. It's large enough that two or more children can play with it together and stay busy! We found it at Wal-Mart for about the price posted on Amazon. I had the "old school" version of this garage as a kid and it was sturdier. I don't get why modern has to mean weaker, but we're happy with this toy anyway. You have to assemble it and "snap" many parts together but it also uses screws which was important to us because my son enjoys disassembling (snapping) and breaking his toys. I know, that's awful.
My 11-month-old loves this toy. September 27, 2007 Nonchin 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
... even though I, the mother, do not like the look of the toy. (It looks flimsy and cheap to me.) But it has certainly kept my 11 month old baby busy for a long time, day after day for a couple of months. He experiments by putting many different items through the spiral ramp, examines which items roll down and which do not. When something gets stuck in the middle, he tries to "debug". I think my baby gets a good training in three dimensional spatial modeling through this play. He also likes to drop things into the elevator stall. He them moves up and down the elevator, enjoying the bell sound and the movement. This is definitely one of his favorite toys at the moment.
Where did all the good toys go? September 26, 2007 Bobpemb (Texas) 8 out of 11 found this review helpful
This garage is okay you like to have a little ramp to roll things down like balls. Incredibly hard to put together, I failed twice at screwing in screws in the right places. It only came with two cars, one that will not fit in the elevator or go down the ramp without flying over the edge, probably why the picture shows it sitting there on the side. Went to a garage sale to buy more cars for to fit it and found the vintage one instead. Now my son will not touch the new one, prefers the vintage.
Fisher Price Garage purchased for our Nursery School Class October 6, 2007 Susan D. Edquist (California) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I purchased this for our Nursery School class. It came unassembled, so it took some time to put together. The swirling roadway keeps coming apart at the joints & requires repair through the day as it's played with. It's very popular with our children & gets lots of use.

I gave this to my grandson for his 2nd birthday. He played with it daily and for a LONG time each day. Kept him happy and busy. He tried to push all types of vehicles down the ramp. If they didn't go, he just parked them for later use. Very sturdy product which should last for several years.
