Great Toy!!! March 5, 2005 Baby Enthusiast 104 out of 107 found this review helpful
We have this and Hug & Learn Baby Tad, and we prefer this puppy because it has a lot of variety. It has two modes - learning and musical, which are selected by pressing the button on its foot. The other foot, both hands, an ear, tummy and nose play sounds or songs when pressed. The puppy identifies body parts, colors and sings fun songs. It is very colorful, has a flashing bone on his shirt and volume control through a velcro seam on its back. My young son finds it very easy to push the buttons. Some reviewers have said that the ear broke, but we have not had any such problem and we've used it every day for four months.
Absolutely adorable.... December 31, 2004 E. Mellon (USA) 95 out of 97 found this review helpful
My 10.5 month old son and "almost" 2 year old daughter LOVE this puppy!!! It is so cute! And very good sized too! My daughter will sit and play with it - pushing on the ear, hands, feet, stomache and nose... making it talk and sing. My son just likes to dance away while the puppy sings (teehee)! We all have a good time with it! It says many different things - to many to list here. My daughters favorites are to hear it say (when pushing on the nose), "Achoooo" (sneezing sound), or "You got my nose" (she gets a kick out of that everytime)! She also loves that it 'sings', "The itsy bitsy spider" (her favorite song)! Terrific buy and lots of fun!!!!!!
Even grandpa loves it! October 20, 2004 Angel (Pennsylvania) 24 out of 25 found this review helpful
I got this for my daughter about 3 months ago, it is still the toy she goes to first. None of her "old" toys get played with, but this one does. She grabs it when we are going bye bye. And even my dad will play with it with her. He refuses to play with any other toy that makes any kind of noise. So this toy is great for happy little kids and grumpy old men at the same time. I love how it plays the whole song, and not just half or stop in the middle where you have to push something else to continue it. It teaches, body parts, colors and songs. And it has cute little sayings/ You push his nose, and he says "nose" push it again, he says "red nose", push it again, he says "a choo" then on another level, he sings "itsy bitsy spider", says achoo" then "got my nose!" So far I have found no faults in this toy. It is educational and fun. I would recommend this toy to any child. And it was reasonably priced also.
Ultra sensistive..barely touch it and it switches to another feature! November 24, 2006 Amy T (MD) 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
This toy had big potential..problem is, when my son is happily listening to a song, and he gets excited and grabs the toy, it switches to "yellow foot". Even at 6 months he gets disappointed and surprised with the abrupt change. It will even go off on it's own if you walk by it - not cool when the baby is sleeping! Fisher price needs to make sure you cannot switch to another song/feature, etc until the last one is finished playing. Of course kids are going to grab it and it shouldn't be sooooo sensisitve to the touch.
Little Devon loves his new puppy! August 30, 2007 ! Betty Dravis (San Jose, CA) 13 out of 15 found this review helpful
At seven months, my grandson is too young for A-B-C's, but he certainly enjoys listening to the music. And the eye-catching colors seem to appeal to him too. It's a joy watching him as he plays with his new "puppy." I love watching his face light up, and his giggles light up my life. When we put him in his play-pen or let him crawl on a big blanket on the floor, he always goes to this toy first. He's always enjoyed it when we sing lullabies to him, so this toy is a natural.
