There's only one thing I would change... January 7, 2008 D. Koelln (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I absolutely love this monkey mirror. My husband has an Eddie Bauer child safety mirror in his truck and it works very well, but only shows the baby's face. This Rainforest mirror shows me my baby's entire car seat so I know what she's doing with her hands as well. The only thing I would change is the method of stabilizing it. It tethers great to the built-in hook behind my back seat, but the stabilizing strap doesn't attach to the actual seat. If I take a turn faster than 8-10mph, the whole thing tips over. It's not a safety problem, since the mirror is round and I can still see my baby, but it's off-center at this point, so I have to adjust my rear-view mirror...and the monkey is then upside down. Otherwise... great product!!
Love this Monkey! October 25, 2007 Christine M. Campeau (Buffalo, NY) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this for my truck to keep my son occupied while I drive. He loved this Monkey so much that I now own 3 of them. One for my truck, one for my husbands truck and one for the house for him to play with. My son stares at the Monkey and talks away to him. I would recommend this to everyone!
Well-designed and useful! February 16, 2008 A. E. Berigtold (Baltimore, MD) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this before my daughter was born. She's now 10 months and it's still going strong. It took some tinkering to get it strapped around the headrest right, and tight enough, to prevent the slipping problem another reviewer mentioned, but since re-adjusting it the last time, it hasn't moved a millimeter. I love that I can see so much of my daughter, and the rounded surface means that even if the mirror does slip, you can still see your child without having to pull over and adjust. Overall, an essential buy for new parents!
Great product May 22, 2008 Steve Bisson (Massachusetts) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great product, fairly easy to install, very visible but not distracting. Miror small but that is OK. The monkey head moves around which acts as a distraction for our 4 month old.
The best! January 25, 2008 K. Alford (Roseburg, Oregon) This is absolutely he best mirror I have found for our van. I had tried four of the rain forest deluxe mirrors with nothing but problems. This is much cheaper, easier to use, and Rome loves talking to the monkey. The mirror is nice, big, and round making it very easy to see in the rear-view without taking up too much space and blocking your view.
