My 22 month old loves this tickle me elmo special edition new tricks. She dances to the music with elmo. I do need to help my daughter with pushing the sensor to activate elmo. She is learning though. We had it for 1 week so far and she loves carrying elmo around.

I rated this product very high, but need to clarify that in my mind it's a very short-lived toy and once the initial "check this out" amusement has faded it will be relinquished to a corner shelf to live away it's days.
Good: it's funny as all get out. I found myself laughing and chuckling every time I pressed it's tummy. The batteris seem to last quite a while. Reasonable price.
The not so great: it's hard (not at all cuddly like you would expect Elmo to be). It's loud. It gets boring very quickly.

I didn't know what all the fuss was about...now I know! My 15 mo. old daughter loves this thing! He's not your run of the mill Tickle-Me-Elmo; he has puzzles to solve (off the internet site) to find other "special" tickling tricks...like hiccuping or making goofy sounds with movements, etc. She laughs every time! My husband and I can't help but laugh as well. It is pretty cute! :)

I bought this toy for my daughter's first Christmas, and I think I was having more fun with it than even she was! I love how you can do different body combinations to make Elmo do hidden tricks... I know that she will have many years of wonderment with this toy... Giggles galore around our household for sure!
