Too short for most adults August 12, 2007 JDinNY (New York, New York) 14 out of 17 found this review helpful
I've long had a Xootr Cruz scooter, which I use to get around locally in Manhattan, and I wanted a "spare scooter" in case something happened to my Xootr. I'd heard that there was no comparing Razors with Xootrs. Cost-wise, that was clear enough. (Xootrs are about four times more expensive.) Now I know that I get the scooter I pay for. In choosing among Razors, I went for the Cruiser over the Pro based on the Cruiser's larger wheels, which should make it faster, and wider wood foot panel. Bad choice. My guess is that if you're 5'6" or shorter, the Cruiser might work for you, and that the Pro would be better for others. At 5'9", I have to lean too far forward to grip the Cruiser's handles. Looking more carefully at the specs, I now see that the Pro is three inches taller than the Cruiser. For my purposes, this is a two-star product, but choosing a model that was too short when a taller one was available is my fault. Height aside, this scooter has a fragile feel. The wood foot panel is thin and came slightly warped out of the box. When you spin the wheels at eye level, you can see that they are slightly out of true (they're a little wobbly). I give it three stars because its price is reasonable, and it's probably functional for folks 5'6" and under. Functional is not special, and aside from the similar name (Cruz/Cruiser) and look (wide wood foot panel), it's nothing like a Xootr.
what a great scooter! September 8, 2007 N. Pouznar (North Jersey) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have purchased the Cruiser scooter and I am so happy with it! It is so much better and faster than the original version of Razor, since the wheels and the deck are biger. It rides nice and smooth. It is so much more stable than the original and having more room for your back foot becomes realy handy. I am 5'8" and I have no problem riding it. The handle extends just enough for my hight. What a great product. I recomend it!

Bought as a christmas gift. It is built well and looks good. The only problem experienced was that two days after use the decal (sticker) pattern that is adhered to the foot deck area started to curl at the edges and peel off. Otherwise, it is a good product.

My daughter loves this scooter and I love that she gets exercise while playing with it.
Really fun scooter March 28, 2008 Linda (Chicago, IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We were looking for a scooter upgrade for my 7 year old son, and after reading a lot of reviews, and trying one out in a store, this is the one we all agreed on. It's easy to fold & really fun to use (now my husband wants one). It's a little bit longer and wider than his previous Razor scooter, and the brake is easier for him to use. The larger wheels give it a sturdier feel, and of course, it looks really cool. I highly recommend it for kids (and adults).
