The authors selected 50 occupations where no college degree is needed, based on average annual salary, percentage of projected growth, and number of openings. The program includes statistics about each career, interviews with people who work in some of those fields, and tips on how to weigh skills, values, and personality traits when making career decisions. The video moves very quickly, condensing a wealth of information in 35 minutes. Using the teacher guide can help the viewers interpret and use the information more meaningfully. The teacher guide provides an anticipation quiz, career research activities, a post-quiz, and an optional classified ad activity. This video is best suited for high school students and adults involved in career exploration.
