Amazon.com One of the gang wishes he could stay up all night sometime, so Barney uses a magic night timer to turn the day into evening. The kids go through their bedtime rituals, but then they get to stay up--a dream come true. This is a particularly entertaining episode, with the children discovering that night has special sights and sounds of its own, precisely the kind of thing most kid viewers wonder about. --Tom Keogh

Sun and Stars January 19, 2001 Reema Jawhari (Doha, QATAR) 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
My 4 year old loved this video for it showed her many things which she couldn't see herself, especially the part on "night-time". The songs are great, some are new, others are Barney classics, but its an eye-opener on what happens during the night when most kids are fast asleep. It is one of my daughter's favorties, and even my 1 year old sits glued to the TV when its playing. I highly recommend it, for it teaches them alot about what they should do before they go to bed, about constellations, about flowers and about the sounds of day and night.
Great video January 30, 2003 Have seen it so many times because it is one of those "again" videos that the kids want to see over and over.
Big Hit! October 8, 2005 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great Barney VHS. I got it when I was three years old from Santa. It talked about the differences between day and night. Now it's thrown out! Everyone got sick of it! See if Good Day, Good Night works with your child and write it here on Amazon.com!
