Description
Nervous about your wedding dance? Learning to dance, especially for your wedding day, should be fun and painless. With our new easy-to-follow instructional video, "Preparing For Your Wedding Dance," you can transform your living room into a private dance studio and enjoy the equivalent of over 20 hours' worth of instruction by an award-winning dance team.

Can't find a song for your "first dance" that you both like? On the back panel of your video box, you will find a password to our internet database which lists over 500 wedding songs by title. This songlist tells you which artists have covered each song and what style of dance would match each song. You can hear samples of the music at on-line music stores, such as Amazon.com.

To make it easy to locate the section of the tape you'd like to view, we've created an onscreen index which is linked to the table of contents on the package:

5 out of 5 stars This is the best video!!!!!   January 12, 2004

"We got this to learn the foxtrot, but it's great to have the other dances: swing, waltz and nightclub. I wanted to do a waltz for the father-daughter dance. Plus the section on swing was great for the party, because we had a DJ playing lots of big band music. So from one video we learned all three! This was a great video!!!! "

5 out of 5 stars I thought I couldn't learn to dance...   January 21, 2004

Our daughter was getting married and I was worried about the father-daughter dance. (I always thought that having two left feet would be an improvement for me.) Anyway, my wife suggested trying this video, and it actually worked! I learned how to do a foxtrot and not feel like a complete fool.

I strongly recommend this tape for anyone who thinks they can't learn how to dance. The instructors have an encouraging, relaxed style, and the tape allows you to learn at your own pace.

5 out of 5 stars Easy to follow   February 2, 2004
This video is very easy to follow, even for those of us who don't have dance experience: it has an on-screen counter, and the figures are explained very clearly, with demonstrations of the man's and the woman's footwork. We were beginners, but the explanations made learning to dance easy and fun. We were able to put together a little routine really fast - just in time for our high school reunion!

5 out of 5 stars A fantastic, easy to follow wedding resource   March 15, 2007
MDS (New York)
This is a terrific DVD which we have been using ahead of our wedding.

The instructors give really clear, easy to follow directions and pepper the DVD with really useful advice (e.g. which dances to choose if you have limited floor space at your reception, why you should practice in the shoes you will wear on the 'big night' and how to protect them, etc).

They show plenty of examples of the 'finished product'. However, we were not overwhelmed by it all as the DVD is set out really well and they spend a really good amount of time going over each of the techniques and steps. The techniques all seem very easy, but look great.

My fiancee and I have actually had a lot of fun with the DVD and it has been a great confidence booster for us and our dancing.
