Product Description
Travel across America with psychic-medium Michelle Whitedove, as she shared the visions and conversations she had with ghosts still haunting their favorite places: a beautiful woman, murdered by a jealous lover in the woods behind an elegant lodge; a black slave, hanged for poising her master's family; a hotel-owner's mistress, cruelly chained to a radiator in his private quarters.Ghost Stalker is a psychic's personal journey to some of America's most haunted locations. As an investigator, Michelle Whitedove wanted to demystify the supernatural and answer age-old questions: "Why do ghosts choose to remain earthbound? How do they travel from place to place? Why are they visible to so few people? What kinds of messages are they trying to relay? Are all earthbound souls evil? Why do some ghosts reenact the same scene, night after night? The author is able to answer these questions, because she has the ability to see and directly converse with those souls who live between this world and the next.

This is a great book! April 3, 2003 Bob Conroy (Tampa, Florida United States) 18 out of 19 found this review helpful
What a great book. I started reading it on a flight to London and couldn't put it down until it was finished. Unlike other books on the same subject, Michelle Whitedove actually takes us along for the ride. You feel like you are the fourth person on the adventure. The background history and travelogue provide the needed information to better understand each haunted location. Unlike some other books I have read on the subject, which seemed to stretch the truth, this book tells it like it happened. From the very exciting findings, to the times when not much of anything happened. The channeled information will give you insight that few have, the "real" story behind some of our most famous haunted locations.
This book is a MUST READ!! April 27, 2003 Mary Ellen Szwejkowski (East Meadow, New York USA) 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
Wow, what a book! I finished it in one day, I simply could not put the book down! This book is the most detailed, interesting book about haunted houses I have ever read. First, it describes the fascinating history of each haunted place, then describes their visit to these places, and it makes you feel like you are right there with them! Then, after these visits, Michelle goes on to channel information from her spirit guides about what actually happened with these ghosts, or "lost spirits". Her book also helps dispel any common misconceptions about what a ghost actually is. Most are just "lost souls" who are confused and remains on the earthly plane. Not only does Michelle's book take you on an adventure to these haunted places, it also give you much educational knowledge about why these places are haunted, and what vortexes are. I've learned a lot as a result of reading her book, and I highly recommend this book for anyone who desires to learn and be educated about the truths of the "hauntings" and the history behind it. This book is a winner!
Ghosts Speak / Medium Listens January 11, 2005 S. R. P. (City of Angels, CA) 14 out of 16 found this review helpful
Ghost Stalker is unique. This book is written by a psychic investigator who thoroughly explains the phenomena of ghosts and hauntings. This author does not propose theories, as many other books do. Michelle Whitedove has communicated with the "Other Side" since she was a child, so she gives us the facts in a way that everyone can understand. In this book Michelle Whitedove treks across America visiting some very haunted places. She writes in travelogue style so that you are along for the trip. You will visit The Bird Cage Theater in Tombstone Arizona, a saloon that is inhabited with invisible gunslingers and dance hall girls, Myrtles Plantation, in bayous of Louisiana, where a slave still watches over the children that she poisoned, and the Queen Mary where some wealthy patrons still reside...even after death. All of these locations were all well documented and extremely interesting. She also visited a host of haunted places off the beaten path, most of which are open to the public. So if you are a ghost enthusiast, this book will give you definitive answers along with an entertaining journey across America. Michelle Whitedove is the author of several other books on spirit communication and life after death.
THIS BOOK WILL GRAB YOU AND NOT LET GO! May 19, 2003 Ed Thomas (High Rolls, New Mexico, USA) 10 out of 12 found this review helpful
THIS BOOK WILL GRAB YOU AND NOT LET GO! Be prepared to read the whole book once you start because you won't want to put it down until you finish it! I met Michelle Whitedove when she was doing research for this book at The Lodge in Cloudcroft, New Mexico where I work. I found her to be a very exciting and intriguing person. Ms Whitedove has the uncanny ability to include you in the saga as you travel with her, so that you experience what she experiences as she travels from California to Louisiana visiting famed "haunted places" in Ghost Stalker. In many places you can feel the hair on your neck stand up as you participate in the adventure! I am very honored that Ms Whitedove saw fit to include my non-fiction short story, "The Unruly Guest on Friday the Thirteenth" in Ghost Stalker.
Just too hard to believe February 24, 2006 Dawn A. Skinner (Michigan) 10 out of 12 found this review helpful
I am a believer in ghosts and in the fact that some people have extrasensory perception, but I just found her to be unbelievable. The places she went were well known and it would have been easy for her to know the stories before hand. It also seemed that the information came too easily to her. I just found it hard to swallow at times. For the ghost stories though, I like them, hence the two stars.
