Description
Essentially the same lesson as "Learning Tenor Banjo," making use of the longer-necked, mellower plectrum model, good for solo playing. (The tenor has a shorter neck and a higher, sharper sound, good for cutting through other instruments in a band situation.) Four-string players tend to be fiercely devoted to one type of banjo or the other, so we have produced a separate video for each instrument.

Very complete in an understandable and interesting format for the beginner. Unfortunately, there is no subsequent video. However, Buddy Wachter does have instructional tapes available on his website. They are equally well done.
