| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com The real star of Edgar Cayce on Practical Spirituality isn't Edgar, but his grandson, Charles Thomas Cayce, who helps explain the resurgence of spiritualism that Grandpa predicted would play a more powerful role at the turn of the 21st century. Essentially, this is a self-help tape meant to help you learn how to look at the cup as half full. After all, "Bad is only good gone wrong," according to one of the many Cayce-isms quoted. An assortment of experts, including a spiritual educator, a psychotherapist, and a doctor, are interviewed by host Mark Thurston. Whether emphasizing the need to live in the present or promoting the novel idea of writing a mission statement to guide your life, this primer brims with amazingly down-to-earth advice on engaging in spiritual self-examination. --Valerie J. Through interviews with authors and therapists familiar with Cayce's views, numerous steps to developing the spirit are identified and stated in simple practices everyone can begin to make a daily part of their lives.
