80's Classic Dance Movie March 20, 2008 Honey B This is certainly a "sleeper" hit! I have seen this movie well over 200 times and I've stopped counting. It's become a cult classic to me since I was only 13 when it came out! I can recite the lines, know the choreography and can sing along with the cheesy and catchy songs. It's great fun watching these kids, who were dorky Sandusky, Ohio teenagers who make a pack to make it big in New York (the old adage)! They're basically comeback kids who get humbled from the local street dancers on what "real" street cred dancing is all about and of course there's the "Showdown" that takes place to prove who's the best. I would recommend it to any lovers of dance and definitely those who loved "Fame"!
Old School To The Bone January 4, 2008 DC Diva (Chocolate City-Wash., DC) This movie has to be considered the best of the best when it comes to throwback dance movies. Fast Forward is a movie that I could watch over and over again, looking at some of the actor's that have gone on to greater projects, I ofter wonder if they too look at what I would say was a ground breaking dance movie of the 80's. Life was so simple and being a teenager was fun. Growing up in the 70's and comparing life then to life now, GIVE ME THE 70's. This movie is fun entertaining and it give you a warm feeling. This is a great Friday night, sleepover, girl night get together movie. So call up your friends, pop some popcorn, order a pizza and get ready to be taken back to a time when life was FUN. I rather watch "Cheesy" movies like: Fast Forward, Breakin, Electric Boogaloo, Dance Til Dawn, Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Flash Dance and the list could go on and on compared to some of the cramp on TV and Horror movie's aren't really my thing, these movies are like old friends. ENJOY AND CELEBRATE THE 80'S

I love to watch this movie. It's one of the best movies in the 80s. I love the choreography, the music is awesome, and the characters are well-played. I wish they have this movie on DVD instead of VHS and I would hope that they'll release the soundtrack very soon. I would love to listen to it----it'll bring back memories.

If you love dance movies, you will love this one. It is a bit cheesy on plot but the dancing is great.

I really love this movie. For those who wish to sell this movie please contact me, I would love to own this movie. This movie puts me in mind of Breakin' aka (breakdance). The messages may be a little different but the dancing is very similar. I'm just an 80's movie fan what can I say. Again, this is a great movie. You won't be disappointed! :)
