I love this game. Then again I am addicted to cooking games, this game is one of the best and is perfect for adults. Its not very childish, and the food looks amazing.

I decided to write a review about this game. I brought it at Target after looking in two other stores trying to find it. I love to cook, so I got this cooking game for my nintendo ds. This game is really fun.

You are a assissant chef in a French restaurant and you get to cook different french dishes for your customers.

I would recommend this game to anybody who loves cooking, just like I do.

I bought this game because I like cooking games like the other reviewers. But I think this game is kind of boring. The stories and long and drawn out and you have to read them all the way through unless you hit the select button and that skips the story. The dishes also get progressively harder to make. I have made the same dish about five times and each time I got a low quality rating and I have no idea why. I think Cooking Mama is much more fun than this game. Save your money on this one and get Cooking Mama.

4 out of 5 stars Gourmet Chef: Cook Your Way to Fame   July 24, 2008

My daughter LOVED the Cooking Mama games (and actually learned alot of cooking terms playing same) so since she has been trying to translate her Nintendo cooking skills into real life cooking skills, I bought her this game as it seemed more realistic. It's good, and she does play with it, but not as much as Cooking Mama. It's a bit more complex since there are stations where various tasks must be performed to get the plate out. It's more like a restaurant instead of a kitchen.

4 out of 5 stars Looking forward to more....   July 17, 2008

I enjoyed this game but it ended too soon. Look forward to future editions!
