Scrabble Journey May 14, 2008 Ivonne King-Graves (Tucson, AZ) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Was a little hesitant to purchase this game, however after tryng it, I fell in love with this version of scrabble. The journeys you take from country to country is exciting and challenging. I would refer anyone to this game if they love to spell and work the brain. I have gotten my mother addicted to this game and I think anyone who tries it will enjoy it just as much as we do. Definately spend the money, it is well worth it.
Where in the World is Scrabble San Diego? May 3, 2008 TomR (Colorado) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I'm disappointed in this game. It doesn't have a computer player that you play against so you just kind of play against yourself. You just keep putting words together to take you from one end of the board (your origin city) to the other end of the board (your destination city). I would much rather have the computer or another player create words every other turn than just keep building on my own words. I was too bored to ever go beyond level two so maybe it somehow gets more exciting as you advance. I'd much rather play real Scrabble than the Scrabble version of Where in the world is Carmen San Diego. I do think elementary school kids might like this to help with their spelling though. Would someone please recommend a good Scrabble game for PC? Thanks!
