Good Game April 24, 2007 52 out of 57 found this review helpful
Purr Pals is an okay game. Here is a basic, brief summary of the game. You come in, adopt a cat, and move into your home. Your cat has four basic needs: Hunger, Love, Play, and Cleanliness. There is a Needs meter, and the higher the Need goes, the more your kitten will get upset. You get an allowance every day, and the better you take care of your kitty, the more money you will get. If you haven't taken care of a Need, then you will have a penalty, and get less money. To earn money (used to buy food, litter, toys, decor, and accessories) you can either play mini games, spend your allowance wisely, or enter in a Purina Cat Competition. Your cat will have a special personality. Graphics: 6/10 Music: 5/10 Goals: 7/10 Total: 8/10 I hope you learned a bit more about Purr Pals and I hope you have enjoyed this review.
Love The Game April 7, 2007 Karen G. Strange 41 out of 43 found this review helpful
I'm 12 years old and I bought this game yesterday. I love it. It's almost like nintendogs. But in this you can actually go in different rooms. And you kitten can get on the furniture. I highly reccomend this game for cat lovers.
Awesome!!! May 26, 2007 21 out of 21 found this review helpful
I am 10 years old and my mom bought me and my sister this game to share. It is an awesome game and I highly recommend it. If you like nintendogs you will LOVE this. It might be even better! You can have up to five cats that you can pick out from many breeds. Your house is really big and has fun furniture. It is like you have a real pet! Like I said, there are tons of breeds to choose from, but I do not like the fact that half or more of them have freakishly large ears. You have to take care of your cat by: grooming it, feeding it, loving it, and playing with it. To earn money you can play mini games that are really cool. My favorite one is the singing one where 4 cats sing different notes and you have to touch each note with your stylus. It is kind of like dance dance revolution! Another way to earn money is entering them in shows. I haven't tried it yet though. A reason it is good to share is because you have five different houses so you and your siblings can each have a cat and house even though after you buy one cat you have to earn the money to buy another. It doesn't matter if you are a cat lover or not, you will LOVE this game!!!
More fun than I expected September 1, 2007 Kara K. Myers (San Antonio, TX) 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
I bought this game for my 4 year old. She really enjoys it and is able to operate all but the "games" section. Those are a bit more challenging, but could probably be handled by a 7-8 year old. The games area is where you are able to make money so you can be accessories for your kitty. For my daugher, she enjoys cleaning the litter box, feeding it, brushing the kitty, petting it, playing games with it and finding accessories in the shopping area. All in all it was a good purchase and makes excellent use of the touch pad and the mircrophone (you blow into it to make a butterfly fly for the kitten to chase.)
BUY THIS GAME!!!!! May 7, 2007 13 out of 15 found this review helpful
This game is so awesome! When you're at home, you will have some cash to spend on food, litter, or accesories for your cat. There are forty different breeds to choose from and I'm quite sure you'll find one you really love. To see if your cat needs something, tap the question mark. I think this game is really fun, partly because their games are so fun! Overall, Purr Pals definately deserves to be five-starred!
