My son loves it October 20, 2007 K. Pao (Houston, TX) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I just received this game (PS2 version) last night. My 10 years old son played it until mid night. He really likes it; much better than MLB 2k7, The Shows, or The Bigs. I saw there are many positive review regarding the Wii version, but nothing about PS2. Believe me, this PS2 version is also great fun to play. And price is lower.
Fun Arcade Style Basball November 8, 2007 Matthew83128 (Aviano, Italy) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have bought the last few 2K7 baseball games and have enjoyed them. But this is a much faster and easier to play game. It still keeps all the major league players names and states but has fun with them. The players make funny faces when having strikes called on them and striking out. And surprisingly the stadiums graphics look better on this game then they do on 2K7. If you're looking for a serious baseball game I would suggest 2K7 but if you want just pick up the controller for quick fun, then this is the game you looking for.
great baseball game November 5, 2007 kpm (San Francisco, CA USA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you like playing baseball stars for the old NES, you'll love this game. There's a RPG aspect to this game like baseball stars. Don't let the super deformed characters throw you off, this is a very fun and deep baseball game. You'll also got a kick out of the super deformed rendition of real MLB players.
One word.......AWESOME November 11, 2007 Landon Becker 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just got this game a week ago. THE best baseball game on the market. It doesn't matter if you're a die - hard baseball fan or just learning the game, because its simple pick up and play controls and options make you look like you've been playing baseball all your life. The looks of the players are hilarious with just a head, torso and HUGE feet. The stadiums look almost exactly like in real life. Plus, the fast gameplay makes a 9 inning game fly by. Also, for a cartoon-ish like game, it has incredibly deep game modes. So, if your looking for some good, old-fashioned fun, this game is for YOU!
What a great game! January 18, 2008 K. O. Brien 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased this game for my 14 and 18-yr old sons based on an Amazon review. My boys had not heard of the game prior to receiving it, and they have played non stop (PS2 version) since the holidays. My older son now wants it for Wii. They love the graphics, setting up the teams, everything. Once they got the hang of scoring, they were hooked. They have other MLB baseball games, but absolutely love this one.
