Generic, not digital April 14, 2006 M. Kriz 3 out of 12 found this review helpful
Beware, using this cable will not allow you to have digital sound from your Xbox at all, which most people care about if they care enough to buy an HD cable... I went from having no HD and digital sound, to HD but terrible sound.
Great image on a HDTV May 9, 2007 H. Do (Sacramento, CA United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
After buying a more expensive XBOX HDTV kit with horrible results, I was very relieve that this cheap cable produce an incredible image on a HDTV. My other XBOX HDTV kit has 5.1 sound, but this cable does not. I don't use 5.1 sound, especially for games, to even notice. This cable produces a great image in high defination. It is a huge improvement over the composite cable included with the XBOX.
Good, but not great December 11, 2007 James Hall (Manchester, NH) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
So, the Xbox advanced AV cable has s-video and optical audio outputs, and this cable has component video and composite audio out. It would be nice to have digital optical audio out and component video on the same cable. I had very little noise either on the audio or the video of this cable, and recommend you save yourself the money and not buy the Monster cable.
gives you HD output, but has noise January 9, 2008 Kyle Tomsik (north royalton, ohio United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I found that this cord will show diagonal lines that move. They aren't extremely visible, but on a larger hdtv can be distracting especially if you are watching a movie. the lines appear in 480p, 720p, and 1080i mode
great addition to the xbox June 15, 2007 J. Tumlinson (Katy, Texas USA) It's amazing how much better the games look after plugging in this device. Awesome HD.
