Finally......sleep. November 21, 2007 Tai Chi (Brooklyn, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is my second pregnancy and I have many more symptoms than I did for #1, namely horrible posteriorly located pain that more or less mimics sciatica. I am so stiff, especially in the mornings, that I feel like my legs will give out on me when I walk. This is no joke when you already have a fiesty toddler to carry around the house! I have been trying to sleep with several pillows - it has helped a bit, but yesterday this pillow arrived, much to my delight (ordered it 2 days ago too). It was comfortable to sleep in, but best of all, I woke up this morning and rolled out of bed like in the days of yore before pregnancy. And take it professionally from a doctor - this beats any sort of appointment with an orthopedic surgeon, followed by physical therapy sessions, etc etc.
Great pillow, small issue. January 25, 2008 S. Somma 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This pillow is great and my wife sleeps like a baby for the most part. One issue is that the pillows digs into her shoulder a little more than she would like. she uses another small pillow to cushion the edge. Overall a great buy that made a pregnant woman happy.
Nothing is perfect, but this is pretty close April 21, 2008 Hannah Cherney (Huntington Beach, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This pillow has really helped my sleep during my pregnancy. Being pregnant with twins made me get bigger and more uncomfortable much faster than if I was only pregnant with a singleton, so I needed help sleeping pretty early on. Although I still get hip/leg pain and my arms still fall asleep at night (not to mention the 2-3 trips to the bathroom each night along with the insomnia that is just another of pregnancy's little miracles), I am much happier with the pillow than without it.
Love it! May 9, 2008 L. Gill (Maryland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is my 3rd pregnancy and my first with this pillow. Much, much better than the conventional body pillows. I love how it curves around your back because it keeps me from rolling onto my back in the middle of the night and supports my lower back. I put a flat regular pillow under my head also to boost my head up a little bit which helps be breath better.
sleeping better... May 30, 2008 K. Love 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm 5 months pregnant and was using a king size pillow between my stomach and legs. I constantly had to move it when I rolled over, and could never get comfortable. When my husband left in the mornings, I'd take his pillow and put it behind my back so I was supported front and back. That's what this pillow does automatically, and it takes up less room. It's two sides together are about equal to the width of a king size pillow. So even though there is support in front of and behind you, you don't take up the whole bed. Now I only roll over when I wake up to go to the bathroom a couple times a night anyway. I'm sleeping great. Cons: a) it did take a few nights for me to figure out how I sleep best with it...be patient b) you are completely separated from your spouse, so you have to move the pillow out of the way for cuddling
