I've read a lot of reviews that said this stuff didn't work and it was chalky or cakey. If that's the case you aren't using this product correctly!! I've been using Bare Minerals for almost 2 years and I never wore makeup before using this because I didn't want that cakey or thick look of other makeups. This stuff works, it goes on so smooth and natural looking that I would never use anything else.

I've have use this product before ordering through Amazon and I just love it as a concealer under my makeup. It hides any dark circles and small blemishes. It goes a long way because it doesn't take much to cover the area.

I started using Bare Escentuals when my aunt recommended it a few years ago. The first thing I bought was the bisque, and it was terrific. I used a little concealer and the bisque over it and it gave me some light coverage while looking like I wasn't wearing makeup. Since then I've changed to using bisque as an undercoat with a colored foundation over that, and it works like a charm. The powder doesn't clump and it's light enough it won't clog pores and cause blemishes. If you forget to wash it off -- and admit it, we've all done it -- it won't make you break out by morning. It's very easy to use, and it's quick, which is a huge plus for me because I'm just not likely to spend a lot of time on my make-up.

I just started wearing bare escentuals about 3 weeks ago and I am hooked. I began with the starter kit and have continued to purchase other items because I am so happy with the results. I just tried the Bisque Multi-tasking minerals and I love it. I have a lot to cover, such as veiny dark undereye circles, and acne and acne scarring. This product does an amazing job for me. I have actually noticed my skin improving! I would definitly recommend giving it a try.

For some reason I thought that this was just like the foundation, but it isn't. It doesn't have the same shade or the same iridescence that the foundation does. If you want something that is like the foundation, stick with the foundation. I had to find out on my own what the multi tasking minerals was all about since the people at my Sephora store in Portland OR were too busy standing around to help me.
