This is simply awesome. I tested it on a course that had GPS on the carts and the yardages were spot on. I also used it at my local muni. What a difference maker when you know the exact yardages. This is a real confidence booster and a time saver. Well worth the money.
A great tool July 16, 2007 Gap Wedge (Michigan) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Bushnell Pinseeker 1500 Laser Rangefinder builds your shot making confidence by taking away any doubt you may have in which club to use for any given shot, you know the distance. I have played rounds with someone using a GPS device and the distances are equal, but I have the advantage since I can play on ANY course, not just ones which have been mapped for GPS. This unit may also be used for hunting or any other time distance is in questiuon. The pinseeker mode is ideal and the learning curve is very quick and painless.
Great optics, too large July 20, 2007 JB (Michigan) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Great product. Sites right in even with a less than steady hand. But...I walk and it is very large. perfect for riders. I traded with my friend (who rides) who had a nikon (something or other), which is more compact and perfect for walkers and it's $100.00 less. Works as good as the 1500, but the 1500 was a little better overall. If I was a rider I would have kept it.
Super - spend the extra money August 7, 2007 Former Engineer (Chicago, IL USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I had the Nikon 440, which works fine but has limited range and has trouble finding the pin in front of background clutter, like trees. This one latches on to the pin from 250 yards out very quickly. A big improvement.

Well worth the $$. Most accurate device I have come accross. I bought this for my wife, since I have a SkyCaddie, and I use this more than I use mine. No data to input, just point, push and read.
