Ener-G Foods Lite White Rice Loaf October 16, 2007 Patsy With my husbands allergy to wheat, I am always looking for bread he can eat, as I don't have to bake all the time. The bread is so awesome, it actually taste good and has a shelf life, I don't have to freeze and/or refrigerate. He is happy with the taste, so that's all I need to hear. I just mailed a loaf to my niece for her son who is autistic and cannot not have wheat or glueton either. Very pleased, highly recommend this bread!!!!!!!!!!!
The BEST Gluten-free bread! November 17, 2007 Mr. Michael A. Dorough (Warner Robins, GA) I have tried just about every gluten-free bread and bread mix over the past 7 years and this is the BEST! Some are high in fat content, others are too thick and heavy. This bread is just right. It is best to me when toasted. I keep this bread in my home. Kroger has it, but Amazon is MUCH cheaper!
STALE! November 30, 2007 Susan M. Wegener (MI) I was inititally delighted with the price....but stale stale STALE! The bread was so stale could only use the 1st loaf for toast (& the 2nd & 3rd)will make stuffing with the rest. Disappointed.
Happy mistake-my son loves it! December 16, 2007 M. B. Orsatti (Minnesota) I ordered the light rice loaf by mistake. I have always gotten the regular white rice loaf for my six-year-old son that has Celiac disease. I gave it to him thinking he wouldn't like it but I had to try because we already had it. He absolutely loves it. He asks for bread (with nothing on it) all the time. He will eat 8 pieces a day if I let him. He likes it much better than the regular rice loaf. What a happy mistake!
Gluten free P&J's April 11, 2008 Amy M. Higgins (sillyyak) A well priced bread for the gluten free diet. Nice texture, toasts well, and stays freash for up to a week.
