1 out of 5 stars Terrible song!   March 27, 2008

First off...the song itself is not catchy, there is no melody, there are too many horns in the background. It's just a mess.

But more importantly....Madonna tries to grasp onto youth by paying younger artists to produce her new album, and fails miserably. 4 Minutes is a horrible attempt at breaking into the mainstream genre. Madonna even knows her time is up, and she is more of a featured artist in this song, better suited for Lindsay Lohan.

1 out of 5 stars Madonna, Justin 4 minutes   March 27, 2008

I am a huge Madonna fan and love Justin's work. I am not impressed with this song. They could have done something so fantastic together but chose to hide their voices in electronics. I know Madonna is trying to stay with the young pack but she let this long time fan down. I was anxiously awaiting this song and really don't care to hear the rest of the album now.

1 out of 5 stars Hideous   March 27, 2008

This is what music has become? The bar is now so low that this makes it to the radio? The beat is weak, the vocals are mediocre, and there is no hook. The whole concept is bad. 4 minutes ? Is that all they have left in their creative minds?

3 out of 5 stars Good for the radio   March 28, 2008

This is obviously Madonna's attempt to regain American audiences again. As a radio song, it's fine but that's not saying much. It's catchy but it's not a song you can really sing to. I'm a bit disappointed. Not her best single but I think radio is embracing it. 2 1/2 Stars. I'm curious about the album and yes I'm getting it the day of release.
