Excellent Business Information March 7, 2006 Loyd E. Eskildson (Phoenix, AZ.) 4 out of 8 found this review helpful
Excellent (detailed, timely, and unbiased) source of business information; editorial page, however, is strongly slanted towards the conservative side.

Don't take my star rating as commentary on the quality of the Jouranl as it is a simply must read for any finance professional. I rated one star due to the price on Amazon. I was recently singing up for delivery and thought $249 for a year's subscription doesn't appear too bad. Of course when you compare it to a 54 week subscription for both print and online for $99 it is a terrible deal. If purchasing go to WSJ homepage.
Check your delivery method ! May 9, 2007 Dick Danger (BILLINGS, MT United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The paper is great, you don't need me to tell you that. The problem starts with delivery, if you live in an area with carrier delivery, AND your carrier isn't a total flake you can expect your paper each and every morning. That's when I like my WSJ, I can grab it and jump in the car and read it while I should be working. If your carrier is a flake your paper will show up late, if at all. My last carrier left me to wonder where the last three issues ended up. If you're in an area not served by a carrier the paper with me delivered via USPS, for me that means about 3pm, at that point the paper is only good for starting fires.
Outstanding editorial line February 26, 2006 Shalom Freedman (Jerusalem,Israel) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
'The Wall Street Journal' it seems to me has the most sane and persuasive political writing of any major daily American paper. Its editorial writers are outstanding, and provide generally great insight into world news. I read I must admit this paper occasionally and selectively, searching out the pieces that most interest me. I am simply not the person who really follows closely the business and economic news the WSJ provides. One small criticism is that I have never liked the format of the paper. I just do not like the way those very thin columns look. But this is of course usually more than made up for by the quality of their content.
The only editorial page in America that sells newspapers June 8, 2007 Brent Ayotte (Riverside, CA United States) If you are going to still buy a newspaper in this digital age, make it the Wall Street Journal. There is no better paper in the world. Concise and filled with the highest levels of accuracy, the Journal is indispensable to anyone seeking to be fully informed on the major issues of the day. With the addition over the last few years of the daily section "Personal Journal", the Wall Street Journal brings more helpful information of personal value in all the areas of today's life than any other publication. Spend your subscription money wisely - invest in yourself. You will get personal "returns" when you buy the Wall Street Journal.
