Great magazine! Bad way to order it! March 14, 2008 JHC (Cambridge, MA) 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
I love this magazine. My older daughter got it for years, then we let our subscription lapse. My son is old enough now to enjoy the poems, stories and activities, and resubscribing through Amazon seemed so easy. But four months later, we still haven't received our first issue! So if you are eager to get a copy, I would go straight to the publisher!
My niece loves this magazine! March 10, 2007 Alexander McKelvey (Los Angeles) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
She loves this mag! The stories are quite good, as well as the illustrations. She often goes back to prior issues, so I can tell she is holding onto most all of them. All in all, I have to say that getting her a subscription was a success in encouraging her to read.
A loved magazine November 16, 2006 David Allen Hazlewood (Tacoma, WA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
My daughter LOVED this magazine and couldn't wait to take it to Grandma's house to make the recipe's and do the projects. She's now into Spider age level but when I have my 2nd child I'll be ordering this magazine again for them.
good magazine, not sure if its for a little older... May 6, 2007 S. A. Bakshi (Buffalo, NY, USA) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
We just got our first issue of Ladybug Magazine. My 2 1/2 year olds enjoyed it, but I think some of the stories in there are for older children, probably a year older than mine are. That said, the publisher does give a range (2-6, I believe)and I do think that the kids will grow into enjoying all the features of the magazine. Its nice to have something other than Highlights, which the kids also enjoy.
Charming - great keepsakes September 13, 2007 SS (Chicago) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My daughter loves this magazine. The illustrations and stories are absolutely charming. I love that it gets kids interested in outdoor activities like gardening. It helps me keep us away from the TV and out of the mall a little bit more.
