Paula Deen's New Magazine a Real Winner! December 5, 2005 Gina P. McClenning 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
Paula Deen's new magazine, Cooking With Paula Deen, is full of gorgeous pictures and contains over 60 yummy recipes. It is beautifully laid out, contains stories and tips and features marvelous pictures of Paula's new country kitchen. Her holiday dinner, featured in the magazine with the recipes for making it, is a true inspiration and delicious sounding! All of the recipes are easy to make. If you have followed one of her recipes before, you know how yummy they are! This magazine will be treasured by home cooks and and fans of Paula. I can't wait for the next issue to come out!

I ordered this magazine for my grandmother, as we are both HUGE Paula fans. We got the first issue and read it front to back several times. It is an awesome publication filled with recipes and pictures and stories about Paula's life. I think it really captures the feeling of Paula Deens show.
I like the magazine March 30, 2006 James Ayres (The Woodlands, Texas USA) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This isn't a slickly-produced title like Gourmet or Cooking Light. It's a locally done magazine skewed toward an older audience with easy recipes using supermarket ingredients (what "semi-homemade" SHOULD be). I don't think the recipes are of the caliber you'd find in one of Paula's cookbooks, but they are easy and most people will enjoy them. Note: As in many magazines, seasonings in the amounts called for in these recipes will result in a bland finished product. You can easily double the seasonings in them on the first try, without even tasting the recipe first.
Price may be high but management of magazine subscriptions is convenient July 2, 2006 Hello Kitty Palm Beach (Palm Beach, FL USA) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I like Paula Deen's cooking, and find that I prefer to order my magazines through Amazon because they send me an email update when my subscription is really about to expire, so I can choose to renew, instead of flooding me with 6 months' worth of letters in the mail saying "RENEW NOW" or else, you'll miss an issue. Invariably, I never missed an issue, but I certainly OVERpaid too soon by sending in subscription cards and renewing too early when I may not have wanted to.

I am looking forward to receiving the magazine, BUT it's taking 2-1/2 months to receive the first issue!
