Not as good as it once was April 15, 2007 Shane P. (OH USA) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I've been a longtime subscriber to Men's Fitness. As one of the other reviewers said, this magazine used to be better. It still has a great deal of workout, diet and fitness information, but it's not as good as it once was. I think the magazine is losing its focus a bit as each issue does seem to have more and more about sex, pornography, etc. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because a lot of the workout and fitness information is still very useful (otherwise I would give it fewer), but I used to feel this magazine was worthy of 5 stars.
Its all shell. October 4, 2006 T. Ly (Portland, OR) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This magazine has great covers and gets your attention right away. I was was drawn to the cover because it claims to have great article inside, but the articles are very short and pointless. It was a good magazine few years back but now it just seems like they don't know what their doing.
So you wanna look like Ah-Nuld??? June 26, 2004 Reginald D. Garrard (Camilla, GA USA) 5 out of 8 found this review helpful
Published by Joe Weider, one of the legends in the sport of bodybuilding and fitness, this is one of most comprehensive magazines of its type on the market today. Monthly departments not only cover fitness and exercise but nutrition, sex and relationships, health, sports and gear, and style. There are sections whereby staff personal trainers carry the reader through the various stages to build muscle and strength. Great photography accompanies the articles and workout tips, providing an illustrated "how-to" for the budding athlete. This is the mag for the guy that wants to be totally fit in more than just the body.
Complete Guide to overall fitness! April 19, 2005 Patricia L. Williams (newmexico/alaska) 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
I love this magazine- I am really into fitness and muscle building and I always learn something new and exciting in each issue. The easy-reading articles and step-by-step work out and diet guides are usefull to beginners as well as advanced athletes. All this pluss tips on sex, relationships and other life topics keep it interesting and well rounded. This is a great read for anyone- men or women!
