Very good! August 18, 2002 T. Reinhardt (east coast) 15 out of 16 found this review helpful
I recently joined weight watchers and have found this to be very helpful. The articles are a great adjuct to going to meetings... and the recipes have all the point values included, which is great! Even the advertisements are geared towards weight watchers! They will list the point values of a serving of the product! I think thats wonderful! There are inspirational stories of people who are on the program and some are mid-program which is nice... It also talks about health issues and beauty issues so its an all-around magazine and you arent bombarded by *weight weight weight* all the time! Its great to have and keep for the recipes alone...or to re-read whenyou need some inspiration.

I subscribe to the Weight Watchers magazine. I love the personal stories about weight loss. It is encouraging to me because I am trying to make "eating right" a way of life. I try not to look at it as a diet. I am now eating healther than I have ever eaten in my entire life and I feel great doing it. I LOVE IT! The recipes and coupons are excellent. It is a wonderful magazine. I would recommend it to everyone.
A Great Motivator January 22, 2004 OrthodoxMama (Germantown, MD USA) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
In my opinion, Weight Watchers Magazine is one of the best publications available not only to those following the program, but to all who seek a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle. The success stories are always an inspiration, the fitness articles suit people of almost every fitness level, and the motivational tools and strategies offered are quite helpful. It is also important to keep in mind that after so many years in existence WW is still one of the most respected and recommended weight loss programs and while they do keep up with new research (such as the implementation of a low-carb plan) they remain stable and do not jump onto every fad diet bandwagon that comes about. Hence you can rest-assured that every issue will be high-quality and the advice trustworthy. My only complaint is that I'm not crazy about a lot of the recipes that WW publishes, but that's just me- many others love them! This magazine is a must for all who seek healthy, gradual weight-loss success, particularly for those following the program. It will encourage you to stick with it!
Can Help Take It Off And Keep It Off March 28, 2002 carl womack (north carolina) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I had two cousins who went to weight watchers and lost a total of 180 pounds. As for the magazine, think of it like this, this magazine is from the same health conscience people. Enough said already. You don't have to be a member to get the magazine, and it's filled with helpful information on losing weight and living a healthy life.
Perfect for me November 12, 2002 B. Castro (Redding, Ca United States) 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
I think this magazine is perfect for me. Lots of variety and helpful tips. Wish it was monthly though or at least a bit more thick than it is now for being bi-monthly.
