1 out of 5 stars Foolishness and Mayhem   August 1, 2008

This collection of songs: WRITTEN NOT by Cyrus, as she'd like you to think. This is an abomination to the millions of children in the world who look up to, and idolize this teen girl. Unlike the MANY before her: Spears, Madonna, Kylie Minogue and Shakira: This tween cannot begin to touch the songwriting ability of the aformentioned. I'm horrified by each of these tracks, most namely Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", is a pop explosion of nothingness. Lay off the music girl. Her fifteen minutes, and fifteen millions should keep her and her daddy happy for years to come. I beg of you, leave the music to the entertainers.

1 out of 5 stars waste of time...   July 22, 2008

you should buy this cd if you want to hear someone screaming in the mic over screeching guitars...some albums have those songs where you just skip the track to the next one because it doesnt grab you the first five seconds...THE WHOLE ALBUM IS LIKE THAT...she is know for having catchy bubblegum pop songs and her attempt @ sounding like a real musician are pathetic...the songs are completly pointless or her voice ruins the whole song by adding wierd and awkward noises ...either way it's a waste...she has a mind set of her having a powerful voice that any note she hits sounds great...I think the only thing she thinks about when co-writing music is how is it going to look on stage when perfroming...which is not a good thing.

1 out of 5 stars She's Just Not A Good Singer!!!!   July 22, 2008

People are very blinded by the "Hannah" thing. It's not the same person, literally!

Hannah Montana makes fun, pop music, like "We Got the Party," "Rock Star,"Nobody's Perfect," "Who Said," "If We Were A Movie," and so on.

Miley Cyrus acts way different than she did when "Hannah Montana" premiered on the Disney Channel, in March 2006. Yeah, she was a VERY BAD actress when the series started, but she is still slowly progressing, and is becoming a 'nice' actress.

I like "Hannah Montana," and I happen to have both (2) soundtracks.

"Breakout" is going to come to a shock to Miley's younger fans, and won't be as successful as "Meet Miley Cyrus" was.

I predict that this album will sell around 2 million, around the beginning of 2009, but won't go on to sell 3 million like "Meet Miley Cyrus" did.

The best track on the new album is "See You Again (Rock Mafix Remix)," which is originally from her debut album.

I just had to give this one star because she ruined the classic "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". Give it up Miley, you can't sing and it sounds like you NEVER breathe through your nose! How anyone can take her nasaly voice i'll never understand.

I believe that children and parents will be highly disapointed in cyrus' newest cd "BREAKOUT".I couldnt wait to "BREAKOUT" this cd from my cd player and put in something worth listening to. The only reason i gave it one star is because there is no zero star.
