Trapped in Las Vegas, only one thing can keep me sane. Dan Gibson has created a place of peace for me. The sound of the sea is the eternal sound of the earth breathing. Without it there is no life. I know this when I try to water my long dead plants. I moved here from the Northwest, where the rain is relentless. Now the sun is relentless. What was I thinking? But there is solace in Gibson's recordings for the life I once knew. I play the CD and run my fingers through sand and shells I brought with me from the coast to Sin City. Sitting in front of an air conditioner and a garden statue of a pelican, I can close my eyes and I'm almost there.....

I find the cd to be very relaxing & soothing to listen to. Due to cronic pain I have trouble sleeping. This helps me to relax enough to be able to fall asleep easier & sleep a little longer. Great cd.

I surf. I put this on at night to get into my subconscious. It helps me become one with the ocean. Gave it to my surfing buddies and they say it's helped their surfing too. Sounds wierd, but it works. So put on on this CD to relax, or try this CD if you're a surfer. Surfing is the source. It'll change your life.

This is the disc I've been searching for! There are no annoying winged rats (you might call them sea gulls), no bells, no stupid tinkling pianos. The only thing on this disc is the sound of ocean waves breaking on a beach. It's perfect, relaxing, and doesn't sound synthesized.

Are you looking for a realistic, clear, crisp sounding, tranquillizing ocean sounding cd to fall asleep by? Look no further! The gentle waves rush over pebbles on the shore and the sound is so clear and crisp that you can actually hear it!This is not your run of the mill ocean cd! This is a great cd for background noises or a soothing relaxing sleep! There are no background or interrupting noises to wake you up and best yet - no annoying music! I bought this cd for my partner and I.. one of us needs to have background noise to fall asleep and we both love this cd! It's a much loved purchase in our collection. Give it a try! You won't be disappointed!
