There are dozens of ocean wave CD's out there but this one is the best by far! Plus its so cheap!

I am able to close my eyes while listening to this CD with high quality headphones, and effectively imagine myself at the seashore (does take a bit of imagination, but not too much). It's pretty much as well recorded as any other nature sounds CD I've heard, which is not necessarily high praise... I've never heard truly excellent realism with ANY recording of this type. I don't think it's possible to do with the limits of today's recording technology. Anyway, I do recommend this CD for those seeking this type of recording. Very relaxing indeed.

Just pop in this CD, lay back and close your eyes. The sweet sounds of the surging surf are both soothing and serene. But seriously, these recordings are genuinely authentic and are of unusually high quality. Playing this CD at bedtime is extremely relaxing and it has been responsible for many wonderful nights of sleep. Enjoy!

I enjoy the background sound of waves breaking on the rocky shore, with the occasional call of gulls thrown in.
But most importantly, it puts my 3 1/2 month old son to sleep when it is time for a nap. Before this, I set the radio to a static station and listened to that for an hour. "Ocean Waves" is much better. If you have kids, you know what I mean.

This has got to be one of the all time best buys! It is so relaxing, and so realistic. Not much in the way of high drama, just the feeling/sound when you close your eyes that you really ARE at the beach. Sense-sational! Great for writing, working, meditating. I just put it on repeat play and let it ride. You can't get much better than this.
