Great flashlight very compact July 3, 2007 Dennis A. Olson (Placentia Ca) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
This light is one of the best that I have, it is brighter than some of the large flashlights that I have. I keep this in my pocket all the time, it has generated several comments from people that could not believe that all that light was coming from this little thing. The only drawbacks are that there is no real switch, twist the end to turn it on. and Secondly they should have put a lense in front of the light, with this thing in my pocket it tends to gather quite a bit of dust near the led bulb
Great Flashlight for Camping and Emergency Needs September 2, 2006 Timothy J. Kohut (Los Angeles, CA) 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
Great flashlight for the price. I purchased this one for camping purposes. The simple clip attaches perfectly to the bill of a baseball cap, the beamspread is great, the unit is compact so it fits easily into your pocket. I purchased this one for myself and the Streamlight 61101 for my wife. My wife liked the Streamlight because it had a chord that could fit around your neck. I like it, too, but for attaching to a baseball hat to get hands free light, the Gerber is superior.
great long-run flashlight July 28, 2007 rah101 (Hampton, NH United States) 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
The Infinity Ultra is well-known among flashlight enthusiasts ("flashaholics"). Although it may seem dim to the uninitiated, it is a "task light," not really intended to light up a whole room or help you walk a path at midnight. I'm writing this review because I have several Infinity Ultras made by CMG before it was bought out by Gerber. I just got this Gerber Ultra to try it out. My impression is that Gerber keeps improving these LED lights, and the Ultra is no exception. It is somewhat brighter than a CMG Ultra and the beam is smoother. I have found this improvement to be true with other Gerber lights - a Trio I bought recently is brighter and has a better beam than a Gerber Trio I bought about a year ago. Very nice!
Best keychain flashlight May 31, 2008 jd (United States) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
It's bright and has a tightly focused beam (great for making shadow pictures if you have children). It takes one AA battery (which you can easily find, not some obscure $25 hearing aid battery). If you take off the clip it fits in your pocket with your keys. Only downside is that the black coating does seem to rub off. I don't know where it went -- I suppose the washing machine -- but after a few years of carrying it around you'll end up with a dull metallic-finish flashlight instead of a black one. Doesn't affect the function (I actually think it looks better). Great light.
Great Tool February 2, 2007 C. Weyandt (Minnesota, USA) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is a great tool for the price. The light is sufficient for working in dark areas. I carry it in my pocket and use it literally every day, yet I haven't had to change the battery since I bought it several months ago.
