I bought these to replace a failing 900Mhz Sony. These are great phones with a nearly 200 foot range. Our old portable wouldn't work everywhere in the house; these do! I love the phone book copy feature. Update one phone and copy it to the other handsets. There are many other great options, like call screening and message review from any handset.

Good clear sound.This is replacing a old at+t tape unit.The one thing I miss is being able to leave a memo or keep the message for the next person in.It does have no memory aaa batts,thats one reason i chose it.

This phone is perfect for my home. Our old phone interfered with our wireless internet, and would loose connection to the base all the time. This one works perfectly. The answering system works great too. You can screen calls and hear the message someone is leaving from all the other handset speakers, and you can also play messages from any handset so you don't have to walk back to the base all the time. We are very happy with it!

After reading all the reviews, we ordered this phone. We have only had the Panasonic TG1033S for one day, but it is already far superior to our previous V-Tech 5.8 gh phone. From the first time we tried it, all of the static and buzzing noises on the phone were gone.
I do agree that navigating through the phone is a bit time consuming which is why it got 4 stars instead of 5. However, the guide is dummy proof. It tells you step by step exactly what button to press for what you want to do. The handset is extremely light weight. The phonebook is much better than on our previous phone. It lets you edit the numbers very simply--our old phone wouldn't let you do this. This also has a previous number called memory which I like. Transferring information from one handset to another is very easy and very convenient. As with any product, it is not perfect, but for the money, it is a good system.
The time of shipping from Amazon was great.

I just set it up today but I'm very pleased already! Good clarity and easy to set up. I'm happy with the built in answering machine. Our old phone was big and clunky and the volume was going. This phone is small and very light and I love the added phones for other rooms in the house. Other reviews indicated that it has 6 hours of battery reserve. I won't need that but it's a great feature for those who would need it. Seems like a great value for the money!
