Simply stated, this is the best Dect 6 phone out there! I purchased a GE Dect 6 when it first came out and was so disappointed. Call quality (esp on speakerphone) was HORRIBLE. So then I got a set of Uniden from my local Target store ... those got returned the same day. Call quality was choppy and they kept saying "Lost Connection with Base" or something like that when I was right by the base.
After reading several great reviews on this phone at Amazon, I decided to purchase and am SOOOO happy with my purchase. These phones are great ... highly recommended!!

It sure is hard to find decent cordless phones. Usually Panasonic phones have good sound quality and their wired phones are pretty much the best. The fidelity and sound quality on this phone is quite good. The wireless reception is solid. My biggest complaint is the interface, while the buttons are a comfortable size the navigation through the features is a big wacky. Panasonic should study human factors engineering with Sony or Apple. I think this is a pretty good deal. I left out the speakerphone on the handset...it works really well even though they placed the removable belt clip right over the speaker.

We bought these phones to replace some Unidens and these are by far much better. The sound quality is great, and I can take them outside on my 2 acre property and they have no problem staying clear. We love that they have a telecom system on them - now I don't have to scream downstairs to my husband - I can just telecom him over the phone, it's great. You won't go wrong with these phones.

Panasonic KX-TG1033S Dect 6.0 Expandable Digital Cordless Phone System with 3 Handsets
Pros: Very good sound. I enjoy the control features (especially being able to control phonebook listings, redial function, and clearing caller ID numbers on all three phones from one handset). Shipping was beyond excellent. I ordered the phones on Thursday (with free shipping) and expected 3 - 5 day shipping; however, we received the phones the next day!
Cons: Speakerphone volume is not as loud as our older phone. We have to put a sound deflector under the phone in order to hear the other person when using the speakerphone. Also, we miss the speed dial feature that we have enjoyed on several of our previous phones.
