This is a great phone, it has almost all of the features I need. The main feature I had in my old 5.8 AT&T phone (I loved that phone, but it died) that I don't have on this phone is the 2 1/2 hour battery backup in case of power failure, and I don't think any DECT 6 phone has this capability. I live in a rural area where power goes out sometimes,so I always keep a corded phone to use in an emergency or long power outage, in addition to my cell phone. Cell phone reception is iffy, and not dependable.
I can turn the ringer off this phone, I can call the other handsets, I can view caller ID for recent incoming calls. The number buttons are nice and large and feel good to touch. I like the ability to screen calls or listen to messages on any hand set.
My reception is not noticeably better, the sound doesn't seem any clearer, and I can't use the handset as far from the base as I could with my old 5.8 phone, but none of these things are problems for me.
I wish it were easier to clear the new messages notice from the screen. Tech support says I have to clear all new messages in order to get the message off the screen, so I can see the time and date. The instructions on how to do this are either not in the manual or are almost impossible to find.
This phone was very easy to set up and use. It is similar to the phone I replaced. My last phone cost over $200. I tried a DECT 6 Siemens phone that was over $200, but I returned it. This phone is an outstanding value and I'm very happy that I chose it.

Very Durable Product. Great Clarity and Range, I have taken mine 1500ft. away and it worked perfect, I imagine the range is much farther than I went.
3 handsets & only Base unit needs a phone line, the other 2 plug in anywhere you have a power plug.
Purchased another unit for Mom, She Loves it.
I have been buying Panasonic Phones for at least 20 yrs and they can take Abuse and keep working.
This Model is by far the Best Yet.

Its been about 3+ weeks since we've had the phone.
So far the range is fabulous and we can go at least 50 meters away to the condo post office box, and clarity doesnt drop at all.
No interference, static at all. Battery life so far is just great and works very well for speakerphone and handset calls.
Some of the menus arent like what I'm used to - Uniden - but those are minor irritations and arent what I buy a phone for.
Numberpads feel a bit softer than what I'm used to and I'm a bit concerned about long time usage, but I dont expect to use more than 2-3 yrs anyway. One feature that is superb is the sync of addressbooks across phones - both for individual entries and the whole book. Cant tell you how novel, useful and thoughtful that is.
