It's Ink, in a combo pack, at a discount... January 21, 2008 Shawn LoCascio (Burlingame CA United States) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Not much to say. They print vivid, they haven't clogged, it was cheaper than buying them individually, and I didn't have to leave the house. In regards to a previous reviewer, this pack does come with 100% filled cartridges. Perhaps it is the ink/paper combo pack that shortchanges you. Though, I should have read the description of this pack better. This combo pack does NOT come with Black Ink. Bad HP! -1 star for you.

Holy cow!! Two months shipping time!! Even by Chinese sampan you would think it could be faster than that. C'mon Amazon.

It is not so much the product(which I never did receive) it is your shipping policy. I live in an area where the US mail is not delivered. I must have a p.o. box. UPS and FEDEX are ok. At the time of the order amazon cannot tell you how you are to receive your order, so it is just luck if you get it. After several phone calls and undeliverable emails, I get conflicting information from your customer service people (that barley speak english), and another 2 weeks to get a problem resolved. I will not be using amazon in the future unless this problem gets resolved.
Great Value Quality Inks August 5, 2008 D. Ouellette (Southeast, MA, US) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
HP has the best value for a multi ink cartdridge home use series. Lowest cost per page, easiest replacement, and most efficient. Notice the two holes in the cartridges, it recycles most of the ink from printer Maintenance, and cleaning and what not. You will find that yellow usually runs out the quickest, becuase if you are printing photos yellow is used the most for skin tones and sky backgrounds and many nature scenes. Don't be fooled by the photo value pack, this package is the way to go. The photo value pack is a set of "custom" cartridges meant to do the 150 sheets of included 4x6 paper. On average a standalone cartridge or one from this value pack does about 240 4x6 photos.

I'm sure the ink left marks on the paper. It was bought as a gift (along with the printer).
