I've been using this phone for over a month now. I'm pleased with it's performance and am enjoying most of the features. The talking caller ID is very entertaining. It really could use a bit of fine tuning as it has difficulty pronouncing some of the simplest names...yet interestingly enough some of the more challenging ones it hits spot on. Love the intercom feature, address book and all the other little goodies it comes with. (I'm still learning some)
I had a 2.4 ghz Panasonic and loved it...but I couldn't find a replacement cordless unit for the thing that wouldn't cost morethan half of what I paid for this.
The only thing that would have made me happier s if I had purchased it from someone other than Amazon. Marketing ploys stink. Other than that...I'd go for it if I were you.

This telephone/answering machine is even more than I expected. It has all the features one would need and is simple and straight forward in its use. I am completely satisfied with the unit.

I have purchased many wireless phones over the years and after sometime had to replace them. These work well and are well made. Covers my house with no dead spots. Glad we bought them.
 Hiss on all handsets and have to reset base frequently January 9, 2008

Annoying audible hiss on all handsets. Handsets frequently lose communications to base and the only thing that fixes them is to momentarily disconnect and reconnect the power to the base station. I will never purchase cordless phones online again. Too many cordless phones are of poor quality or design. If you have to return one online, it's a hassle and the shipping costs eat up any cost or tax savings as compared to a local purchase.

The phones program quite well, the only thing that I find annoying with the phones is the volume on the handset isn't loud enough for my environment.
