Phone is exactly what I was looking for... November 1, 2007 Beth Hann (Colona, IL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this phone because I was looking for a retro black phone. It fits perfectly in my small space and it works great. The only problem I have is that the caller id display is really dim.
Nice phone for power failures February 9, 2008 Kathryn Krouse (East Aurora, New York United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used to have only portable phones that required electricity to work. This little guy plugs into my land line and works during power outages. It uses batteries for the caller ID feature, but functions as a phone without the batteries or any other power souce. I have one on each floor of my home.
RCA Corded Phone November 2, 2007 S. Atkinson (The beautiful Northwoods of the UP) This is a nice phone. It has all the features of a cordless, plus the ability to work if the electricity is out. The caller ID and other such features still work because they run on 3 AA batteries. The biggest drawback is that it is too lightweight and tends to slide on the table top. I use a mouse pad to keep it from sliding around. I like it much better than a cordless because I can always find it.
Static galore November 25, 2007 S. Ayers This phone has lots and lots of static when a call first comes in. It clears up after about 5 minutes, but if I had known about the static problem, I probably would not have bought this phone, no matter how cute I thought it was.
GE corded retro phone December 23, 2007 Chris Raines (tennessee, usa) this phone has some good features, but this is a difficult phone. not at all user-friendly. virtually impossible to dial out as the keypad is poorly designed.
