Phones work; easy set-up August 23, 2007 Everett K. Truitt (Dallas, TX USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We bought these phones because others that looked just like it, but from a different manufacturer, didn't work well at all. Set up was very easy. Battery life has been good. We've had no problems with the cordless phones not syncing with their cradles (making the phones unusable), which was the problem with our previous phones. You can add up to 6 cordless units to the set, and the answering machine will play through each unit when callers leave messages. Very convenient when answering machine is downstairs and you're upstairs.
excellent product. Can also be found in shops at ABC warehouses October 10, 2007 Herve Kuentz 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
These are excellent products. I bought online because I couldn't find them anywhere. I since found that they are available at ABC warehouses, for the same best price as online and no shipping fee... We'll see if that review makes it to public viewing!
Good phones December 21, 2007 Karen Walden (Gilbert, AZ USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
These are really good phones, small and packed with features. This holiday season we have been enjoying the jingle bells ring tone, and there are many others to choose from. The only feature that appears to be missing is visual notification that we have voice mail - our older Panasonic phones (finally their batteries became too much of a hassle to keep replacing and recharging) had a note that showed when we had voice mail, but I have yet to find that on these phones yet. That is the only reason I did not give them 5 stars.
Great DECT 6.0 Clarity and technology! January 7, 2008 K. Taylor (Ambler, PA United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased this to expand on my prior purchase of one base phone and one handset. It is an exact match. I am happy with the phones except for one small detail - missed calls. It will reflect # of missed calls on the screen instead of date and time. Well, the instructions are not clear as to how to remove "missed calls." I think once you look at the number, it should clear, but the only way I have found to get rid of it is to manually clear it by searching the caller ids and pushing a series of button commands to clear it. All the phones communicate with each other, so you can enter your phone book on one and it will transfer to the other two! When someone is leaving a message on the answering machine, you can hear it come over any of the handsets without pushing any buttons. Fun ringtones (especially for xmas), great speaker phone function, easy to understand keypad and volume adjustment during calls. Great stand by time - it can go over 5 -7 days without having to sit in the cradle for a recharge. The clarity is wonderful and equal to a land line. If 4.5 out of 5 was a choice, I would have given it that score. If only I could figure out a less time consuming way to deal with "missed calls," it would have gotten a 5 out of 5.
Phone was defective in two ways. January 23, 2008 Electronics Maven (Michigan) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
After a few weeks use, phone garbled incoming voice mail so they were unintelligible and the display on one handset went dead. These breakdowns occurred at separate times so appear to be unrelated. Seller (6ave) would not honor Amazon's return policy even though my funds were paid to Amazon. Amazon's policy would have allowed an exchange but now this must be dealt with through Panasonic's warranty. Disappointed in both the phone and the seller 6ave.
